A Peruvian Dominican lay brother who was the illegitimate son of a
Spanish gentleman and a freed slave. He
was incredibly humble and cared not only for the poor and sick, but also for
animals. He performed many miracles
including bilocation and healing of the sick.

A Belgian bishop who cared for the poor, especially in providing food
in secret to prisoners. There is a
legend that once while hunting a stag, he saw a vision of a cross in between
its antlers. After this, he decided to
